Automatic driving lesson prices
Open Way recommends 2-hour lessons as the standard duration because they allow more meaningful practice, repetition and experience of varied road and traffic conditions. Different lengths may be agreed with Dawid where appropriate.

Standard lesson (Pay As You Go)
£90
2-hour automatic lesson tailored to your current learning goals.
Assessment lesson
£90
2-hour initial lesson and discussion to understand your experience, needs and suitable next steps.
10-hour block
£420
Block of ten hours of tuition booked together.
Reference hourly rate
£45 per hour — reference rate only. This is not the normal separate 1-hour booking product. Standard lessons are 2 hours at £90.
Test day
£125 — use of the tuition car for your practical driving test, subject to agreement in advance, your readiness, test-centre limits and availability.
Payment
- Total Drive app where applicable (processing fees may apply).
- Bank transfer directly to Dawid.
- Cash where individually agreed with Dawid.
Cancellation
Open Way operates a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with 48 hours or more notice, there is no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged up to the lesson value, reflecting reasonable financial loss. Dawid will try to refill the slot where reasonably practicable; if the same time is refilled, no cancellation fee applies for that refilled time. Exceptional circumstances are considered reasonably. If you are more than 15 minutes late and unreachable, the lesson may be treated as a late cancellation.
